Cajun Shrimp Benedict

Eggs Benedict, but make it with shrimp. This recipe requires only a handful of steps and ingredients but bursts with so much flavor. This seasoned shrimp brings excitement to the classic Benedict dish that many customers know about. Substituting with an English Muffin, gives the perfect savory combination and can be prepared for any meal of the day.

Ingredients

·      6 ct Bon Secour Shrimp, peeled & deveined, tail-on, 26 - 30 ct., thawed – SGC# 209055

·      ½ tsp Blackened Seasoning

·      1 ct. English Muffin, thawed and toasted

·      2 ct. Large Grade A Shell Eggs, poached

·      12oz Custom Culinary Hollandaise Sauce - SGC# 585544

·      3oz Dijon Mustard

Recipe Preparation

1. Season the shrimp with the blackening seasoning. Place on a heated char-grill or broiler. Grill until just cooked through.

2. Place the toasted English muffin halves on a warmed serving plate.

3. Place 3 grilled shrimp on each half of the English muffin.

4. Place the poached eggs on top of the shrimp.

5. Ladle Dijon hollandaise on top of each of the eggs.
