Lisa Marcotte

It has been almost 25 years since Lisa came aboard to work with SGC and a lot has changed for her throughout those years. Lisa told us, “My computer skills were not very up to date when I started in 1999, but I have learned a lot since then.” She works as a Receiving Clerk in our Warehouse department and handles scheduling, receiving, and checking in OTR Drivers.

“The company has done activities for employees that get them together outside of work in a more family-oriented atmosphere which is nice since you don’t always get that time with co-workers.”

Lisa mentioned that SGC gives off a friendly environment and recognizes people who work hard and do their best. Having a place where you enjoy going to work every day is important. It is clear that Lisa feels this way after being a SGC team member for so long.

However, working is not the main key to life. After Lisa works a busy day, she leaves work to spend time with family. Outside of work she enjoys, “spending time with my grandkids and seeing them do their activities,” she said. There was a time when Lisa was not at SGC, let alone the United States. She lived in Guam with her husband, who was in the Air Force as a Firefighter, and they loved living there. She told us that, “they have beautiful beaches and warm weather there, it would be a trip back in time to visit again.”
