Mangonada
A sweet, tangy, and spicy treat! This refreshing mango slush is swirled with zesty chamoy, topped with a sprinkle of Tajín, and finished with a tamarind candy straw for the perfect balance of sweet heat in every sip.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped – SGC# 196550
- 1 cup ice
- ½ cup mango juice – SGC# 206682
- 2–3 tablespoons Chamoy sauce – SGC# 220626
- 1 tablespoon Tajín (or chili-lime powder) – SGC# 623523
- 1–2 tablespoons lime juice – SGC# 082245
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix Chamoy and Tajín to create a paste, or dip the rim of your cup in Chamoy and coat it with Tajín or chili powder dip.
- In a blender, add mango, ice, mango juice, lime juice, and a splash of Chamoy. Blend until smooth and slushy.
- Drizzle Chamoy inside your cup. Pour in half the mango slush, add more Chamoy and a sprinkle of Tajín, then add the rest of the slush.
- Top with extra Chamoy, Tajín, and a tamarind stick for garnish. You can also add a mango chunk on the stick for a fun touch.
