The Small Business Administration has announced they will be letting PPP borrowers apply directly to have their loan forgiven. Borrowers of $150,000 or less are eligible.
The program will open to the public on August 4, 2021. Starting next Wednesday, applicants will be able to apply here.
If you will remember, last fall the SBA granted PPP loan forgiveness applications to anyone who borrowed less than $50,000. Opening this to $150,000 and less gives the opportunity for over 2 million businesses to apply.
