Confetti Churros

Nothing says Mexican dessert quite like Churros! After a tasty meal, this sweet treat is the perfect ending. The soft crunch of the churro gives that subtle savory taste, but then it meets with the chocolate and sprinkles for the perfect sweet and savory combination. This dessert is not just delicious, its pop of fun colors will have your customers ready to indulge! This will become a hot menu item that you may have to keep as one of your staple desserts! 




- 100g white chocolate, chopped – SGC# 043563

- 2/3 cup full cream milk, at room temperature  – SGC# 195610

- 4 cups soft powder sugar  – SGC# 051747

- Pink food coloring, to tint

- Candy Sprinkles – SGC# 171108



- Fry Churros in oil for 3 minutes, or until golden brown.

- For the glaze, place chocolate and milk in a microwave-safe jug. Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, or until mixture is melted and smooth.

- Stir in icing and sugar, adding extra warmed milk if needed to get a thin consistency. Using food coloring, tint glaze pink.

- Working one at a time, dip half a churro in glaze, allowing excess glaze to drip off. Add sprinkles and place on a baking paper-lined tray to set.

- Serve.
