Shrimp Scampi

Succulent shrimp sautéed with garlic, chopped shallots, fresh thyme, and rosemary in a rich white wine butter sauce. Served with toasted bread to soak up every flavorful bite.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1lb Certi-Fresh Peeled and Deveined Jumbo Shrimp– SGC# 209062 
  • ½ lb Unsalted Butter– SGC# 054130 
  • 2 TBSP minced garlic– SGC# 192922 
  • 2 TBSP finely chopped shallots– SGC# 193649 
  • 1 cup white wine 
  • 1 Tbsp Hot Sauce– SGC# 088484 
  • Dash of Worcestershire sauce– SGC# 125245 
  • Fresh Thyme– SGC# 193482 
  • Fresh Rosemary– SGC# 193474

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Make sure Shrimp are cleaned and free of any excess Shell, Veins, or debris
  2. Place Butter in Med Size Skillet and melt Slowly, careful not to burn.
  3. Add Shallots and sauté until translucent
  4. Add Garlic and sauté for 3-4 minutes 
  5. Deglaze with White Wine and allow to reduce
  6. Add hot sauce and herbs simmering for 3-4 minutes
  7. Add Shrimp and cook until opaque and tails are curled. 
  8. Serve with Toasted Bread for Dipping the Buttery Goodness!
