Crusted Ahi Tuna Burger
Seared rare with everything bagel seasoning, shiitake mushrooms, bulgogi sauce, arugula, truffle mayo, and toasted on a brioche bun!
Ingredients:
- 2ea- Bon Secour Ahi Tuna Filets – SGC# 409135
- 4oz- shiitake mushrooms (sliced) – SGC# 196451
- 2oz- arugula – SGC# 192523
- 1tsp- white truffle oil – SGC# 407521
- 2tbsp- Duke’s mayo – SGC# 123325
- 1ea- Rotella brioche bun – SGC# 216732
- 1tbsp- McCormick Everything seasoning – SGC# 727619
Directions:
- Coat the tuna on both sides with the McCormick everything seasoning. Preheat skillet to medium high heat and sear on the tuna on both sides for about 1 minute per side. Make sure all sides of the tuna are seared.
- Cook the sliced mushrooms in a skillet with medium high heat for 6 minutes until nicely caramelized on both sides.
- Add the truffle oil to the may and mix well
- Toast the Rotella brioche bun about 3 minutes until toasted.
- Spread the truffle mayo on both side of the brioche bun. Add the caramelized mushrooms to the bottom bun followed by the tuna steam and arugula
