Dulce de Leche Fried Ice Cream

INGREDIENTS:

  • Ice cream balls – SGC# 196804
  • Dulce de Leche – SGC# 754417
  • Egg – SGC# 193022
  • Vegetable oil for frying – SGC# 054304
  • Bread Crumbs – SGC# 057364
  • Cinnamon – SGC# 171521 

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS: 

  • Take scoops of ice cream and shape them into balls. Place them on a tray and freeze for at least 2 hours.
  • In two bowls, spread a layer of bread crumb and cinnamon in one and egg batter in other
  • Remove the ice cream balls from the freezer, dip in egg batter, then roll in bread crumbs, ensuring they are well coated. Place them back in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a pan to 350°F (180°C).
  • Carefully drop the coated ice cream balls into the hot oil and fry for about 15-20 seconds or until golden brown. Quickly remove and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
  • Allow the fried ice cream to cool for a minute, then drizzle generously with Dulce de Leche.
  • Use fruit of choice for garnish. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Dulce de Leche fried ice cream! 

 

Note: Work quickly to prevent the ice cream from melting too much during the frying process.
